Customers start the build process by choosing a soft and cuddly one-sided fabric selection or a heavier two-sided fabric selection where you can mix and merry from a vast list of fabric options.

Myubby was started by a husband and wife after several years of observing their own children become attached to their custom baby blankets. "I made a blanket for our son Joe in 2001 when he was a little over a year old and he's been attached to it ever since," Co-founder Aimee said. "We realized a customized blanket is something every child enjoys. We want to offer something very special -- a product a Grandma would take the time to make."

The name MyUbby was created by the founder and young son, Joe. Instead of naming his blanket the standard lovie or woobie, Joe named the handmade blanket "ubby." And it hasn't left his side since. "I call my blanket MyUbby," Joe said. "It's big and blue."

While MyUbby is a new company, it's quickly getting positive feedback from its customers. "I loved the whole experience, I spent hours building my ubby, making it perfect...and OH how PERFECT it is!
